The Refugee Collection

Designed to highlight the plight of refugees worldwide and raise donations for Refugees International Japan.

The collection was made of 100+ exclusive items from Somalia to Myanmar, representing the tragic life of thousands of refugees. Each item was placed in a once in a lifetime bespoke piece of packaging that looked innocent on the outside but contained the tragedy inside.

It was promoted via an integrated campaign and a pop-up shop was opened in Omotesando, where all the objects were made available to buy. All funds generated reverted back to the refugees who supplied the items.

About me

I love travelling and immersing myself in new environments, observing how culture shapes design.

Since then I worked with lots of talented people and won some awards at agencies such as:

Ogilvy / Tokyo
droga5 / New York
Kolle Rebbe / Hamburg
Jung von Matt / Hamburg
Antoni / Berlin
Grabarz & Partner / Hamburg
